Bolivia’s government has placed the scaling up of lithium extraction at the centre of its plans for the remainder of President Luis Arce’s term. Launching an international tender for a public-private partnership, on 30 April Arce declared that acquiring direct lithium extraction technology (DLE) is now a “national priority”.
