EL SALVADOR: FMLN malcontents move against Handal
Defeated FMLN presidential candidate Schafik Handal may pay the price for having insisted on running against the advice of some of his party's shrewdest political operators. Already a movement is afoot to bring forward from November the FMLN's general assembly congress and elect a new leadership.
