BRAZIL: Brazilian right celebrates Twitter takeover
President Jair Bolsonaro has reacted ecstatically to the purchase of Twitter, one of the world’s largest social media networks, by Elon Musk, the world’s richest man, who has promised to defend freedom of speech. Brazil’s far- right has praised the move because it calculates that it will help Bolsonaro win re-election in October’s elections.
