VENEZUELA: More corruption at Pdvsa
In late August an alleged supporter of President Hugo Chávez , José Palmar, accused officials at state energy company, Pdvsa, of drug-trafficking. Palmar's allegation is the latest in a series of embarrassing disclosures of wrongdoing at Pdvsa, whose revenues Chavez usesto carry out his socialist revolution in Venezuela and beyond.
