Region: Higher metals prices having a more positive impact
Metals prices, although showing some differing trends on the back of particular supply and demand trends in individual markets, have risen across the board over the past year. This mainly reflects ongoing strong growth in demand from Asia (China, in particular), but it also reflects rising investor interest on the back of higher oil prices.
