MEXICO: Concerns rise over child labour exploitation

On 1 May a group of minors from the Tzotzil indigenous group marched in the city of San Cristóbal de Las Casas, Chiapas state, to call for better conditions for working children. The demonstrations also called attention to increased violence in Chiapas, which they said was dissuading tourists from visiting and affecting livelihoods.
