BRAZIL: Tensions rise over taxes on international e-commerce

On 4 June Brazil’s senate postponed its vote on a bill that includes a proposal to phase out tax breaks for cheap items purchased from international e-commerce and fast fashion giants, in contrast to the lower house, which approved the bill with urgency last week.
