Caribbean & Central America - 25 May 2004

Trinidad & Tobago has said that it is 90% prepared for the launch of the Caribbean Single Market and Economy (CSME) and that it will be fully ready by December 2004. Speaking on 7 May at the launch of a special unit to ensure that Trinidad is completely ready, Ambassador Jerry Narace said: "Clearly we are on target".
