NICARAGUA: Bolaños loses out in national dialogue

President Enrique Bolaños has reached an agreement with the leader of the left-wing opposition Frente Sandinista de la Liberación Nacional, Daniel Ortega, that should, if kept, see him maintain power until presidential elections are held in 2006. The trouble is that agreements rarely prove to be binding in Nicaragua.
