DOMINICA: Skerrit wins re-election
Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit and his Dominica Labour Party won re-election on 5 May, taking 13 of the 21 seats in parliament. The DLP's coalition ally, the Dominica Freedom Party (DFP), lost the two seats it held. The opposition United Workers Party (UWP) of Edison James won the remaining nine seats.
