CARIBBEAN: OECS celebrates 25th birthday

On 18 June the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) celebrated 25 years since the signing of the Treaty of Basseterre brought the regional body into existence. The leaders of Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, St Kitts and Nevis, St Lucia and St Vincent and the Grenadines gathered in St Kitts's capital to honour the signing of the treaty and assess the future of the region's integration.
