On 17 June Mexico’s President Claudia Sheinbaum said she had a “very good” phone call with her US counterpart Donald Trump, in place of the planned face-to-face meeting between the two leaders at the G7 summit in Canada, which Trump left earlier than planned to focus on the missile and bomb attacks between Israel and Iran.
