In brief: Paraguay posts zero monthly inflation again

*Paraguay’s central bank (BCP) has released inflation figures for June, which showed a monthly inflation rate of 0% and an annual rate of 4.0%. This marks the second consecutive month in which prices remained stable in monthly terms, although the annual inflation rate in June was up from 3.6% in May. The core inflation rate in June, which excludes items with volatile prices such as food and fuels, stood at 0.2% in monthly terms, down slightly from 0.3% in May, and 4.0% in annual terms, remaining unchanged from the previous month.
