PANAMA: Heads may roll over massive poisoning case

The Panamanian public-prosecutor general, Ana Matilde Gómez, accepted a legal complaint against the health minister, Camilo Alleyne, and the executive board of the Caja de Seguro Social (CSS), the state's health service. They are accused of negligence over the poisoning of almost 100 Panamanians who died after ingesting contaminated medicine manufactured in the CSS's laboratory.
