BOLIVIA | Some recovery in international reserves. On 2 October Bolivia’s central bank released figures showing that the country’s international reserves reached US$3.28bn as of the end of September, up US$1.30bn on the amount registered in December 2024 when they reached US$1.98bn. Low international reserves have been a source of major concern over the past two years, resulting in credit rating downgrades by international rating agencies amid concerns that Bolivia would be unable to meet its debt obligations.
