BRAZIL | Petrobras posts rise in oil and gas production. The state-controlled oil company Petrobras released a report on 24 October with its production figures for the third quarter this year, showing a total of 3.14m barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd) of oil and natural gas. This marks a 7.6% increase on the previous quarter and a 16.9% increase on the same quarter last year.
