BRAZIL | Government lowers sugar cane harvest forecast. The Companhia Nacional de Abastecimento (Conab), the logistics arm of Brazil’s agrarian development ministry, released an updated projection on 4 November for the 2025/2026 sugar cane harvest, which showed a forecast of 666.4m tonnes (t). This would mark a 1.6% decrease from the 2024/2025 harvest cycle.
