In brief: Colombia’s GDP growth picks up in Q3

*Colombia’s national statistics department (Dane) has announced that GDP grew by 3.6% year-on-year in the third quarter of 2025, up from 2.1% in Q2. In quarterly terms, GDP grew by 1.2%, up from 0.5% in the previous quarter. Overall, GDP growth across the first three quarters of the year was up 2.8% on the same period last year. The strongest year-on-year growth in Q3 was in the categories of public administration, defence, education, and healthcare (+8.0%), artistic activities, training, recreation, and other services (+5.7%), and wholesale and retail commerce (+5.6%).
