BRAZIL | Industrial production up in monthly terms. The national statistics institute (Ibge) reported on 2 December that the country’s industrial production registered a monthly rise of 0.1% in October, although in year-on-year terms production was down 0.5% compared with October 2024. The accumulated production in the 12 months through October 2025 was up 0.9% on the preceding 12-month period. Of the 25 product categories measured by the Ibge, 12 saw a monthly rise in production.
