BRAZIL | International tourism rises. The tourism ministry reported on 10 December that the country received 701,159 international visitors in November this year, up 25.6% compared with November 2024. This is a record figure for the month of November. From January-November, a total of 8.39m foreign visitors travelled to Brazil, up 40.6% compared with the same period last year. In the first 11 months of 2025, 3.1m Argentine nationals visited Brazil, up 82.1% year-on-year. During this period, 721,497 Chileans travelled to Brazil, up 24.4% compared with January-November 2024; visitors from the US totalled 677,888, up 5.8% year-on-year; and tourists from Uruguay totalled 487,514, up 37.2%.
