In brief: Peru’s GDP up in 2025

*Peru’s national statistics institute (Inei) has announced that the country’s GDP grew by 3.2% year-on-year in the final quarter of 2025. This follows GDP growth of 3.4% in the previous quarter and brings total GDP growth last year to 3.4%. Year-on-year growth in Q4 was driven by gross fixed investment (+10.8%), household consumption (+3.1%), and exports of goods and services (+5.3%). In seasonally adjusted quarterly terms, GDP expanded by 0.6% compared with Q3.
