ARGENTINA | Tourism rises in February. A total of 852,000 international tourists visited Argentina in February this year, which marks an 11.7% increase compared with February 2025, according to figures released by the national statistics institute (Indec) on 25 March. Of this total, 534,200 visitors were tourists and 317,800 only entered Argentina from a neighbouring country for a day trip. Over a fifth (21.1%) of international visitors in February 2026 came from Chile, 19.5% came from European countries, 13.8% came from the US and Canada, and 13.0% came from Brazil.
