PARAGUAY: Creating a digital Itaipú
Paraguay faces “the enormous challenge” of developing the world’s largest artificial intelligence centre, President Santiago Peña said on 13 May. Peña was speaking to assembled journalists in the western department of Presidente Hayes after returning from a six-day tour of Taiwan and the Philippines. Peña equated the project with the construction of the binational Itaipú hydroelectric dam along with Brazil.
