MEXICO: Controversial tourist megaproject halted
On 19 May Mexico’s government led by President Claudia Sheinbaum announced it had rejected a proposed tourism megaproject ‘Perfect Day’, a massive waterpark planned by US-headquartered cruise company Royal Caribbean on Mexico’s Caribbean coast.
