PERU: Fujimori gains unassailable lead, Sánchez refuses to recognise outcome
On 23 June the right-wing Keiko Fujimori (Fuerza Popular, FP) gained an unassailable lead over the left-wing Roberto Sánchez (Juntos por el Perú, JPP) following the 7 June presidential run-off election, as Sánchez claimed fraud and said he would not recognise a Fujimori victory.
