HONDURAS: Former president Hernández announces return from US
On 29 June Honduras’ former president Juan Orlando Hernández (Partido Nacional, 2014-2022) announced plans to return to Honduras from the US, where he had been serving a 45-year prison sentence for drug related charges until US President Donald Trump pardoned him late last year.
