CHILE-REGION: Second-worst inequality rating dents image

Periodically, driven by praise for their economic success, Chileans start seeing themselves as being on the threshold of the `First World', Now, with the prospect of OECD membership in the wind, is such a moment. Chile's self-image, however, has just taken a dip as a result of a World Bank study, which shows it to have the second-worst social equality rating in the region.
