CHILE: Bullish on jobs

The government is forecasting that the recovery next year will, unlike recoveries in other economies, create more jobs and reduce unemployment. It reckons that the unemployment rate next year will come down to 7% (from its current level of around 9%). In 2005, the government is counting on an unemployment rate of 6%.
