PARAGUAY: Duarte's cabinet pulled apart

The race to replace President Nicanor Duarte in 2007 is threatening to bring down Duarte's administration long before its mandate expires. Such is the competition within the ruling Partido Colorado to be the next president that Duarte is losing cabinet ministers to the race less than two years into his own term.
