CHILE: Bachelet sets out her plans

On 18 October Michelle Bachelet, the candidate for the ruling Concertación coalition and the frontrunner for the elections due on 11 December, set out her plans for a future government. Bachelet, from the Partido Socialista (PS), launched her 100-page manifesto accompanied by Alejandro Foxley, a senator from the Democracia Cristiana party and Bachelet's campaign manager.
