COLOMBIA: First agreements with AUC 'non-traffickers'

After a brief pause to deal with an uproar about the presence of drug traffickers among the paramilitary leaders negotiating with the government, both sides reached agreement on five courses of action leading up to formal peace negotiations - among them facilitating the appearance of top AUC leaders before congress. The fact that the ceasefire is clearly not being observed has been played down by almost all parties.
