Kirchner removes entire anticrime command in flareup over no-repression policy

In less than a week President Néstor Kirchner removed three of the people in charge of one of his most highly publicised efforts, his anticrime campaign: justice minister Gustavo Béliz, domestic security secretary Norberto Quantí­n, and federal police chief Eduardo Prados. They were not dismissed, however, for failing in that particular area, but for not meeting Kirchner's standards of unquestioning obedience and loyalty.
