Kirchner removes entire anticrime command in flareup over no-repression policy
In less than a week President Néstor Kirchner removed three of the people in charge of one of his most highly publicised efforts, his anticrime campaign: justice minister Gustavo Béliz, domestic security secretary Norberto Quantín, and federal police chief Eduardo Prados. They were not dismissed, however, for failing in that particular area, but for not meeting Kirchner's standards of unquestioning obedience and loyalty.
