COLOMBIA: 'Narco' lands slated for 'unique agrarian reform'

The Uribe administration says it will conduct a unique type of agrarian reform with new legislation to confiscate land devoted to illegal drug crops. Last week it said that the target was to apply the law to at least 150,000 hectares of land in the two remaining years of President Alvaro Uribe's mandate.
