For the thirteenth consecutive time the UN General Assembly has passed a resolution condemning the US blockade of Cuba, with a rider demanding an end to extra-territorial legislation such as the Helms-Burton Act. For Cuba this is the annual counterpoint to that other regular feature: the condemnation of Cuba ´s rights record at the UN Human Rights Commission.
