HAITI: Gonaí¯ves rebels threaten to rise again

The Front de Résistance Artibonite, the new name for the old Armée Cannibale that set in motion the uprising against Jean-Bertrand Aristide, is threatening to do likewise to interim President Boniface Alexandre and prime minister Gérard Latortue if the government does not swiftly move to rebuild Gonaí¯ves, their powerbase and one of the areas hardest hit by tropical storm Jeanne.
