ST KITTS & NEVIS: Douglas sails through into third term
It is a third successive term for prime minister Denzil Douglas, after his St Kitts & Nevis Labour Party (SKNLP) swept - albeit not entirely - the elections held on 25 October. The results roughly matched what the polls had been suggesting, and did not bear out the opposition's warnings about the possibility of fraud due to allegedly flawed electoral rolls [WR-04-40].
