MEXICO-US: Tiff with Washington as Fox's 'war' escalates
The Fox administration is escalating its 'war' against the infiltration of the prison system under conflicting pressures from different quarters: the US government, Mexico's human rights ombudsman, civic anticrime campaigners, and politicians out to capitalise on the situation. The only ones to have eased the pressure over the past week have been the drug bosses.
