MEXICO: Michoacán's legislator from the US
The state legislature of Michoacán last week incorporated a new member whose constituency is not within the state boundaries, but north of the border, in the US. Jesús Martínez Saldaña is a Michoacán emigrant who has given up his job as a professor at California State University in Fresno to serve as a state legislator.
