MEXICO-US: Bush orders review of Mexican passport requirement

On 14 April the US Department of Homeland Security announced the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative, under which would-be visitors from Mexico and Canada would require a passport to enter the US. President George Bush Jr, apparently caught on the hop by this move, has asked Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and homeland security officials to look for alternatives that would not disrupt 'honest flow of traffic'.
