El Niño & La Niña by no other name

No longer will every apparently extraordinary weather upset in the hemisphere be called a product of El Niño or its occasional sequel, La Niña - or at least that is the hope of the representatives of 26 countries who adopted on 28 April a 'consensus definition' of the two climate events
