BOLIVIA: Ignoring the political problems

The economy is doing pretty well despite the country's massive political problems. The government expects the economy to grow by 4% this year. High oil and gas prices, a pick up in domestic manufacturing and stronger soya prices are all helping to boost the export sector. The domestic sector does not seem to have been fazed by the almost constant low-level disruption (marches, demonstrations, strikes and roadblocks).
