Tracking Trends

PERU | Southern Cone looks to Camisea for gas supply. The crisis in Bolivia, added to the supply problems created by production shortfalls in Argentina, have persuaded Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Uruguay to start negotiations with Peru for the purchase of natural gas from the Camisea deposits. The energy ministers of the prospective buyers have travelled to Lima to discuss this with Peru's economy and energy ministers, Pedro-Pablo Kuczynski and Glodomiro Sánchez.
