GUATEMALA: Tax revenues rise

The government reported that its tax revenues in the first five months of 2004 were 10% higher than for the same period of 2004. The Superintendencia de Administración Tributaria said that tax revenues in the first five months amounted to Q9.8bn (US$1.29bn). This is Q880m (US$115m) more than for the same period of 2004.
