The outlook for 2006

International investors and global economic strategists are inclined to dismiss Latin America's decent economic growth over the past couple of years as a function of the commodity cycle. A boom in metals prices, plus a recovery in agricultural prices compounded by a surge on oil prices produces, in these people's models, 4% growth in Latin America.
