HONDURAS: Tax revenues up by 11.5% in first quarter

The Dirección Ejecutiva de Ingresos reported that total tax revenues in the first quarter rose by 11.5% from L$5.13bn to L$5.73bn (US$301m). The increase is bang in line with government forecasts. The government had expected tax revenues to increase following its drive against tax evasion. Recidivists face having their businesses shut.
