VENEZUELA: Chávez starts to worry about the economy

President Hugo Chávez is beginning to fret about the state of the economy, particularly the high levels of inflation. As part of his strategy to shore up his economic team at the beginning of the year, Chávez dropped his finance minister and, more importantly, his long-serving planning minister, Jorge Giordani.
