AGRIBUSINESS: Brazil's record year
Wagner Rossi, the agriculture minister, said that 2010 had set a new
record for agricultural exports. In the first 11 months of the year the country
shipped US$70.3bn worth of agricultural exports. This was only US$1.5bn shy of
what exports earnt in the whole of 2008, the previous record year.
