COLOMBIA: Not so good

Our long standing caution about the economy has been vindicated by some poor figures. The most worrying is the surge in consumer price inflation in January to 0.9%. Traditionally inflation is bad in the first month of the year, but January 2011 marks a considerable jump on January 2010's 0.69% inflation rate.
