HONDURAS: On the mend

The IMF calculated that the economy grew by 2.8% in 2010 and that the economic recovery will continue this year. That looks optimistic, given the economy's vulnerability to oil prices, which was previously mitigated by President Manuel Zelaya's alliance with President Hugo Chávez of Venezuela.
