Colombia's industrial production rose 3.6% in the first half of this year, while sales from the sector were up 2.6% over the same period. After a slow start to the year, when a number of firms switched from production to commerce and sales to Venezuela fell sharply, industry is once again reporting solid growth which is expected to keep going for at least the next six months.
